This hotel comes recommended particularly for its really exceptional service. A rarity in Norway. The rooms look a little old fashioned, and are decorated in classical style. They are mostly medium to large in size though and in generally good condition. The bathrooms are also in good condition, though overall both rooms and bathrooms would benefit from some modernisation. Some of the rooms overlook the central atrium whilst the rest have views over the quiet streets surrounding the hotel. The restaurant and the bar is located in a roofed courtyard. This place is much liked by the local people in the city. The lobby area itself is quite small, but there is plentiful seating in the sizeable atrium.

This hotel is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. The rooms, like the rest of the hotel are very family orientated and themed to look like cabins in a ship with porthole-like windows and bunk beds for kids. They are medium sized and in exceptional condition. The restaurant is large with fun animal-related reflecting the theme of the hotel. The lobby is very large with a solid wood floor and massive full length windows on one side. The reception desk is fronted with fake fur.

This is a smart property and comes highly recommended. The rooms are of a medium size and in very good condition. The design is modern Scandinavian with a warm, cosy coloursheme. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. The hotel has a cafe, which serves meals all day long. For breakfast they serve bread from their own bakery. The lobby is medium sized.

Although the building is traditional the rooms are decorated in modern style with warm red soft furnishings contrasting with the pale wood floors and furniture. Both the rooms and the modern bathrooms are in exceptional condition. The restaurant is on the ground floor and makes a delightful place to enjoy anything from a small snack to a candlelit dinner The small lobby is classy and welcoming.
